Johanne Amtedal is a freelance illustrator and artist based in Oslo. She has studied visual arts at Einar Granum art school, has a bachelor's degree in arts and crafts from Høgskolen i Volda and a master's degree in communication and design from University of Oslo.

 

Her specialty is visual arts, either paintings on large scale canvas with a wide brush or precise portraits with pencil and watercolor. She is inspired by the reckless brush strokes of expressionist painting and bright colours of pop art.
